How at 8am can there be no appointments, when you find a lump they tell you to contact your doctor and you can’t?!

This place has changed recently and is now an uncontactable disaster failing patients on a daily basis. They've reduced the number of GP's by 30%. They don't publish earnings for GP's post 2017 and they have been forcing GP's to leave by citing tiny clauses in contracts. Someone at this place is trying to make a killing at the public's expense - but they have a captive market. The last time I was able to get an appointment (about a year ago) the ladies on reception were as kind and understanding as ever. I rely on carers 3 times a day but have never even been introduced to my GP since they dumped his superb predecessor. My sympathies for all saddled with whatever the partners are up to at the Health Centre.

There is utterly NO practical way for a seriously ill patient with stress induced seizures and daily care to contact you. The phone queuing systems result in seizures. There is NO email facility. There is no way to access anything other than turning up at the surgery. For me, that involves a carer bringing me over from Taplow and the very high likelihood of multiple focal seizures from the stress. Then because of my condition I could well be unruly and unfairly offensive to the good people at reception as I will not be aware and my brain condition means that I have emotional incontinence. As a surgery, you know all that. Sanjiv Mata took great pains to make sure that I still had access to my GP. He went above and beyond and he went before his time. I have better access to some of the world's leading neurologists than I do to my local GP. Trying to contact them is less likely to result in seizure activity. You know this. So in the 18 years, I've been using the Surgery, it has never been as poor as it is today and this has nothing to do with the poor staff manning the desk or a phone. This is the oversight of the surgery. Who the hell cuts doctor numbers and does not publish average GP earnings for the past 5 years. You are failing in your DUTY to many in the community and in particular to those of middle age and older. Once Dr Mata was got rid of, I have not met a GP at the surgery. This from someone who needs carers 3 times a day and whose repeat prescription includes almost 20 tablets every day. I have loved this surgery for its support. That support was clearly from Dr Sanjiv Mata. I assume that level of personal support is not part of future business plans.

Simply set up a system and apply staff levels so that registered patients can contact the surgery without wanting to throw something at the wall.

I have never had a single worry over my care here apart from a doctor who I never saw refer me to somewhere without asking me firsthand. The reception staff are always friendly and helpful every time I have called them. The healthcare assistants i don’t have a problem with either. I also love going there because you don’t have to go elsewhere for a blood test unlike my previous surgery. I’m just glad I was just in the boundary so I could change to there and made a good choice to my previous surgery.

Being a care provider trying to get hold of the reception I have been on hold for over 1 hour now. The service is very very poor! I can not get hold of anyone on any option at all and am still on HOLD!
